At The Terrace,
Lynn asks Rob if he is nervous. It's his last marriage guidance session tomorrow,
and he
won't be seeing a lot of Angela after that. She tells him that he's been acting
strangely for the last few
days. Rob tells Lynn it's something he's heard, and he feels like calling
the last session off. When Lynn
asks him why he doesn't, Rob says he wants to see Angela's face when he tells
her what he thinks of her.
At Toorak, Stephen, Patricia and Amanda are having breakfast. Stephen tells
Amanda that he is taking
on an assistant, to help with general duties. When Amanda shows an interest,
Stephen asks her if she's
interested. She says she's just curious.
At The Terrace,
Amanda and Lynn are badgering Kevin to apply for the job as Stephen's assistant.
Kevin tells them he'd have no chance - Patricia hates him. Lynn tells him
that Patricia quite likes her.
Phillipe tells him he might as well apply - he has nothing to lose. And the
extra money would help to pay
for Davy's medical bills. Amanda goes to see Rob, but he comes down the stairs
and tells her he is in
a bit of a hurry. When Rob leaves, Lynn comes out into the hall. She tells
Amanda that Rob is a bit
uptight about having to meet Angela. Amanda asks Lynn if there is any chance
they'll get back together.
Lynn asks her if she's interested, and Amanda says she might be.
Rob meets Angela
in the street and tells her that he's called off the last counselling session.
He tells her
he can't believe that she's involved in the baby-buying scheme. Angela tries
to tell him that it has fallen
through, but Rob won't listen. He tells Angela that she and Paul should make
a good pair - they're about
as low as each other. We walks off, but Angela chases after him. She tells
him that it was all Paul's
idea - she had nothing to do with it. Rob tells her that she kept the counselling
sessions up in case it
didn't work out with Paul. He says he doesn't care if he never sees her again,
and storms off.
Back at The Terrace, Rob is telling Beryl what happened. Amanda comes in and
hears Rob saying that
he is single again, footloose and fancy free. She smiles to herself.
