She's on her way.Dee Day is approaching. She's at it again.Patricia gives her opinion on Rob.
At Toorak, the phone rings. Stephen wonders who it could be at that late hour. It is Dee, who tells him
that she is in Singapore, and will be arriving tomorrow at lunchtime. Stephen tells her that he and Patricia
will pick her up. Dee remarks that an airport is no place to meet her new daughter-in-law. Stephen tells
her he'll come alone. Dee tells him not to be late. Stephen tells Patricia he has thought of a joke - Dee
day is finally dawning. Patricia tells him that Amanda is out with Rob, and he isn't happy about his
daughter running around with a married man. Patricia reminds him that he's been involved with several
married women. Stephen says there's nothing wrong with the old-fashioned double standard.
At The Terrace, Rob and Amanda have just finished watching a film on t.v. Amanda tells Rob that she
really likes being with him, and she doesn't want to go home tonight. Rob tells her he doesn't want
her to, and the pair kiss.

Amanda overhears.I'm off for a few days.If I'm not too busy!Phillipe offers advice.
The next morning at Toorak, Patricia is making a shopping list of Dee's favourite foods. Amanda comes
through the front door, pops in and says good morning before going upstairs. Stephen tells Patricia that
his daughter has a damn nerve. Patricia tells him they don't want any arguments now. Later, Amanda tells
Patricia that she has to get her coat - she's late for work. Stephen arrives back with the groceries, and
tells Patricia that if Amanda wants to carry on with married men, she can leave. Patricia tells him that
if Rob loved her, he wouldn't have slept with her - he puts the women he loves on pedestals, not in his bed.
Amanda, out in the hallway, overhears his and rushes off.
Amanda arrives at The Terrace. Rob tells her that he really enjoyed the previous night, and she says she
did too. He tells her that he has to go away for a few days, and says maybe they could get together when
he gets back. Amanda gets stroppy and tells him maybe, if she's not too busy.
Later, Rob tells Phillipe that Amanda was in a strange mood earlier - she really bit his head off. Phillipe
tells him that maybe he wasn't as romantic that morning as she would have liked. Rob replies that they both
had a good time, but he's not the sort of bloke she'd get attached to. Out in the eatery, a customer calls
Amanda over and complains that the sauce on his pepper steak isn't hot enough. Amanda grabs the pepper
mill and grinds loads over his steak. Rob rushes over and apologises to the man. Amanda storms out, ripping
off her apron.

The old girl arrives.Dee meets Patricia.Amanda puts the boot in.Oh dear.
Amanda arrives back at Toorak. Patricia hears a car and tells her she couldn't have timed it better - Dee is
just arriving. Outside, Dee gets out of the car and surveys the house, telling Stephen it's very nice. She
tells him that she is anxious to meet his new wife. Inside, Stephen introduces her to Patricia, and she seems
pleased to meet her. They move into the dining room and Amanda comes in. Amanda tells Dee that she tried
to phone her, but she was never there. She adds that she wanted to warn her. When Dee asks why,
Amanda tells her that Patricia is a money-hungry schemer.....
