At The Terrace,
Beryl tells Lynn that someone has paid off the loan on David's truck. Lynn
tells her it must
have been David's father, but Beryl says it wasn't. Amanda phones Lynn and
tells her that she's heard
the good news about Kevin getting the job. She tells Lynn that she had a word
with Dee about it. Lynn
tells Amanda that she hasn't told Beryl or David yet - they wouldn't be too
pleased. She also says that
someone has paid off David's truck for him, and Amanda tells her she bets
it was Dee. She explains that
she gave Dee a glowing report about the Palmer family, and she probably paid
off David's truck to
annoy Patricia. She tells Lynn that Dee is being moved to a nursing home.
Afterwards, Lynn tells Beryl
about Amanda's theory but Beryl doesn't believe it was Dee. Lynn leaves for
lunch with 'friends'.
Kevin and Lynn
arrive at Toorak for lunch. They are both feeling nervous. Inside the house,
Patricia tells Stephen it is going to be difficult for her to be nice to Kevin
Palmer. She lets the
pair in. David arrives at The Terrace, and tells Beryl he has booked a skiing
holiday for them.
Phillipe accidentally lets slip that Kevin and Lynn are having lunch at the
Morrells'. He tells David
and Beryl that Kevin is going to work for Stephen. David says it's none of
their business - they are
going to enjoy their holiday.
At Toorak, Kevin tells Patricia and Stephen that he knows Dee got him the
job. He explains that it
is the biggest break he's ever had, and he's not going to spoil it for the
sake of family arguments. He
tells Stephen that he is going to work really hard and be a success. Stephen
tells him that he thinks
they will get on well. Patricia doesn't look too pleased.
Rob arrives
at Dural for Wayne and Jill's wedding, and Amanda lets him in. Just before
they leave,
Barbara tells Rob to be nice to Angela if he talks to her. Rob tells her that
he is going to apologise
for having a go at her the other day. Outside the church, Amanda tells Rob
about David's truck being
paid off. The bride's car arrives containing Jill, Angela and Gordon. Amanda
tells Rob they'd better
get inside. Inside the church, the pair are as surprised as everyone when
Brian O'Donnell turns up.
