Kevin can't believe it.Have you asked Lynn?Amanda feigns innocence.Charlie is staying.Patricia wonders.
Amanda pretends that she thought Kevin already knew and apologises. He asks her if Phillipe actually told
her this, and she says yes. Kevin is annoyed and tells her he should have known something was wrong when
Phillipe turned up. Amanda asks if he asked Lynn about it. Kevin tells her that Lynn denied there was
anything going on, and he was stupid enough to believe her. He tells Amanda that he is going to go home
and have it out with them. He is on his way out when Stephen calls him in for a meeting with Gordon.
Amanda looks pleased with herself.
Charlie tells Patricia that she is going to stay on at the house, as it would be rude not to after Dee had
asked her. Patricia tells her she'd love to know how Dee and Barbara managed to make up. The phone
rings and Patricia answers it - it is a man for Charlie.

How did your dad die?Stephen tells the story.Organising a film.Amanda's pleased with herself.
Patricia runs into Stephen carrying a tea tray. She asks him how his father died. Stephen tells her that when
he found out about Dee's affairs, he seemed to lose the will to live and wasted away. He adds that Dee used
to delight in parading her lovers around in front of him and Barbara. He tells Patricia he hopes she isn't
going to stir up any trouble. Patricia promises not to say anything.
In the living room, Charlie is talking with Dee and Barbara. She tells them she has found out the picture
of her and Dee is going to be in the social pages of the newspaper. She goes out into the hall to tell
Patricia. Barbara goes into the hall to fetch Dee's pills. When Charlie leaves, Patricia remarks to Barbara
that she's very chummy with mummy. Barbara says yes, and walks off.
At The Terrace, Lynn and Phillipe are looking at the newspaper to decide what film they should see at
the cinema. Lynn tells Phillipe maybe they should forget it - there isn't anything she wants to see. Amanda
says they can't cancel - she has rearranged her evening so she can baby-sit Davey. Amanda suggests they
see a horror film, and Lynn agrees. Amanda smiles to herself.

Patricia digs at Barbara. How did she find out?I'm off to the movies. With my wife?
At Toorak, Patricia asks Barbara why she told her father about Dee's affairs. Barbara is disgusted with
her. Patricia tells her she put the pieces together. She tells Barbara that she has never told a soul, and
now her little secret is out, what will everyone think? Barbara tells her that Gordon's opinion is the only
one that matters to her. She tells Patricia that if she's trying to get at her, she's wasting her time.
In the living room, Barbara tells Dee that Patricia must have got the information out of Stephen. Dee
apologises for bringing the matter up, but Barbara tells her it won't affect their relationship. She adds
that, now Patricia knows, she can't stay there any longer and will go back to Sydney as soon as Gordon
finishes his business. Dee tells her that is one more thing Patricia is going to pay for - forcing her daughter
out of her house.
Kevin arrives at The Terrace, and Amanda tells him that Lynn has gone into town. Phillipe comes down the
stairs and tells Kevin he is home early. Kevin asks if he is disappointed, and Phillipe asks him why he
should be. Phillipe tells him that he will be late for the movies and Lynn will be wondering where he is.
Kevin can't believe that Phillipe and Lynn are going to see a film together. Amanda tells him she thought
Lynn had a modelling job on.
