Fiona arrives at Dural and meets Amanda. She tells
Amanda that her and Jill have decided not to see
each other any more for various reasons. Amanda tells her that's a shame,
seeing as they have been so
close. Fiona asks if anyone has told John that Jill is back in Sydney. Amanda
tells her she doesn't think
so, and she won't. Fiona thanks her.
At the apartment, Patricia arrives and finds Matt talking to Jill. Jill goes
for a lie down, and Matt tells
Patricia she isn't the sparky lady he remembers. Patricia tells him that Jill
has had a lot of problems.
Matt gives Patricia his business card and tells her to give it to Jill. He
also asks her out to dinner, but
Patricia tells him that her and Stephen are back together again. Matt tells
her he is glad, and that she
seems on top of things. Patricia tells him that she bought something that
day that might just do the trick.

Patricia takes a cab to the Green house, switches
on the recorder and knocks on the door. Helen is
vacuuming inside and, hearing the knocks, opens the door. Patricia introduces
herself, but Helen tells
her she shouldn't have come and asks her to leave. Patricia tells her they
don't want to have to subpoena
her into appearing in court - she just wants to hear her reasons for not testifying.
Helen stops vacuuming
and tells her all right, she'll talk.
Later at the apartment, Patricia is playing the tape to Charlie. On it, Helen
admits that Stephen is Andy's
father. Charlie laughs that it's like something from a James Bond movie! She
asks Patricia what Stephen
will think about the tape - he did tell her to stay away from Helen. Patricia
tells her that he'll calm down
when he realises they can get their money. Jill emerges from the bedroom,
and Charlie invites her out
shopping with her and Patricia. Jill declines, and tells Charlie she has other
things to do. Once Patricia
and Charlie have left, Jill phones Matt and asks for an appointment. He tells
her he can pop over in half
an hour. Jill tells him that she has to talk to someone.

At Dural, the phone on the bar rings and Amanda
comes in and answers it. It is Wayne, who asks to speak
to Gordon. Amanda asks him if he isn't going to say hello to his wife. She
starts mocking him by saying that
he had so much to say when they were together, and that he must have been
shocked when she told Gordon
about the Power Of Attorney. Wayne sarcastically tells her he was shaking
in his boots, and tells her to
get Gordon. Amanda tells him there is something he might be interested in
- Jill is back in town, having
left her husband.
Later, Wayne phones Jill at the apartment. Jill tells him she doesn't need
his help. Wayne asks her if
she's still having the baby and she says yes. Wayne tells her that he still
loves her, and she's going to
need someone's help - why not his? There is a knock on the door of the apartment,
so Jill tells Wayne
she can't talk. When Wayne tells her they've got to talk, she tells him to
stay out of her life. She puts
the phone down and answers the door, almost collapsing. Matt catches her and
takes her over to the
sofa. He tells Jill that she'd better tell him all about it.

Jill tells Matt she didn't realise how much she
had come to depend on Fiona. She tells Matt that she's
told him everything, and asks what he thinks she should do. Matt tells her
he doesn't give advice - he
makes people see things more clearly so they can make their own decisions.
Jill tells him she wants
to let Fiona help her, but she wants to terminate the baby. Matt tells her
that she should see Terry - the
more she sees him, the less afraid she'll be. Jill says that she's not sure
whether she can face Terry
again. Matt tells her it's her decision.
Later, Jill arrives at Dural and Amanda lets her in. Jill tells her she wants
to see Fiona, and Amanda tells
her she'll be in the flat. Jill goes out, but then Amanda remembers something
and races after her. Outside,
they see Terry and John fighting in the swimming pool. Jill is shocked and
rushes back into the house.
Amanda helps to drag John and Terry out of the pool, and tells them they are
like two stupid kids.
Inside the house, Jill is on the phone. She tells the person on the other
end that they are the last person
she should be calling, but they've got to help her. Amanda rushes in and tells
Jill she could kill John and
Terry. Jill asks if they are all right, but Amanda says who cares? In the
hall, she overhears Jill say that
no one else who's involved can help her. Amanda looks puzzled and leaves.
