At Dural, Amanda and Andy are talking
in the living room. Andy tells her that he and the band have
recorded a tape, and she tells him she'd like to hear it. Stephen comes in
and tells them he has had a
tough day. The phone rings and Amanda answers it. It is Patricia. She asks
to speak to Stephen, but
Stephen doesn't want to know. Patricia tells Amanda that Margaret has been
over there threatening to
kill her. Amanda starts having a go at Patricia, so Stephen takes the phone.
Amanda tells him that Margaret
has been there all day, so Stephen tells Patricia he is not coming over. He
hangs up, and tells the other
two that Margaret was supposed to have tried to electrocute her. Amanda goes
to see Margaret in her
room. Andy tells Stephen that when he met Patricia, she seemed to be quite
together. Amanda comes back
in and tells them that she can't find Margaret anywhere.

Margaret arrives back, and Stephen asks her where
she has been. In the living room, Andy gives Amanda
his band's demo tape. Margaret comes in with Stephen and tells them that the
whole idea of Patricia's
story is a joke. She tells them that she went to see Patricia to patch things
up, but she couldn't even get
her foot in the door. She explains that she came straight back there. Stephen
remarks that it is hard to
take Patricia's story seriously. Margaret leaves, and Amanda says that it's
not difficult to tell who is
lying. Andy can see that Stephen is worried about Patricia. Stephen remarks
that Patricia acted as though
she believed every word she was saying. Andy tells him to go and see her,
but Stephen says that he's made
the break - she'll have to sort herself out. In the hallway, Margaret replaces
the keys on the table.
At the apartment, Fiona arrives asking for Jill. Patricia tells her that Jill
has moved out, and she doesn't
know where she's gone.
At Dural, Amanda has finished listening to Andy's tape. Barbara comes in,
and Amanda tells her she's
just missed out on seeing Andy. Barbara tells her she saw Stephen driving
him away a moment ago. After
Barbara goes out, Amanda tells Margaret she's a big mouth - she forgot how
sensitive Barbara is about
anything to do with Andy. She explains that Barbara and Andy's mother, Helen
Green, were very close.
Amanda continues that she'll have to meet Andy in the courtroom. Margaret
remarks that with the name
of Andy's father unknown on the birth certificate, Helen has to verify that
he is related to Dee.

Margaret phones Wayne at Toorak. She tells him
she needs to know everything possible about the will,
and that he'll have to come down to Sydney. Wayne tells her he'll meet her
at nine thirty at a motor inn.
At Dural, Amanda is about to leave to see Andy play a gig. Margaret tells
her she is going to the movies
and Amanda offers to give her a lift part-way there. Amanda tells her she'll
meet her outside and leaves.
Margaret phones Patricia at the apartment and tells her that the more fuss
she makes, the quicker she'll
turn everyone off. Patricia tells her sister she won't get away with it. Stephen
comes into the living room,
and Margaret tells him that Patricia is on the phone demanding to speak to
him. Stephen tells Margaret to
let Patricia know he is busy and leaves. Margaret goads Patricia by telling
her that all her friends are
deserting her, and she'd better lock up well tonight. She hangs up.
At the apartment, Patricia is talking to Matt. She tells him that Margaret
is playing a war of nerves with her.
Matt tells her that he believes her, and it looks like Margaret is trying
to frighten her. Patricia tells him she
doesn't know if Margaret would do anything to her. She reminds him that David
Palmer has just been shot
by a psycho who escaped from prison. Matt offers to stay the night to make
sure that she sleeps easy, and
Patricia is grateful.

At Dural, Barbara has a go at Stephen, telling
him that he mentions Patricia every time he opens his mouth,
and must enjoy putting himself though the mill. Stephen decides he's been
sitting there brooding for long
enough, and decides to go to the apartment to see Patricia. Barbara isn't
too pleased, but Stephen leaves.
At the apartment, Matt gives Patricia a couple of pills and wishes her goodnight.
He turns out the light and
leaves the bedroom. Later, Patricia has a nightmare and shouts out. Matt rushes
in and hugs her. Patricia
asks him to stay with her for a while - she doesn't want to be on her own.
Matt tells her to go back to sleep,
then gets into bed next to her.
Wayne is at the motor inn, where he is having a disagreement with the receptionist
about his room. Margaret
arrives and they sit down to talk. Margaret tells Wayne that Andy is trying
to get his mother into court to
testify. Wayne tells her it's a good job he's ahead of them - he's organised
an investigation into the Greens,
and he's sure they'll come up with something. Margaret is impressed with his
organisation.
Stephen arrives at the apartment and knocks on the door. When there is no
answer, he lets himself in. He
calls out Patricia's name but again there is no answer. Stephen walks into
the bedroom, and finds his wife
asleep in bed next to Matt.....
