No can do.Margaret offers to help. She's a bit of all right!Terry's a cheeky chappie.
At the riding school, Stephen tells Terry that 'Hawkins' won't deliver the timber for the catwalk until
it's paid for. He asks Terry if he can take a cheque into town. Terry tells him a fire has broken out
nearby and he has to stick around in case it gets worse, as he is in the bush fire brigade. Margaret
overhears and asks if she can help. Stephen asks her to take a cheque to the timber yard. Margaret asks
him if they could have lunch when she got back, but Stephen tells her he is too busy and maybe some
other time. He leaves.
Outside, Terry sees Patricia and tells Stephen she's not too bad and he wouldn't mind meeting her.
Stephen tells him he already has, but he couldn't see her at the time - it's his wife. Terry laughs and
apologises, saying he can't understand why Stephen's giving her the boot. Stephen isn't interested.
He goes back inside, where the receptionist tells him there is a call for him - it's his sister. Stephen tells
her he'll take it in his office.

Patricia is shocked.Stephen delivers bad news. They're getting on again.Margaret isn't happy.
Outside, Robin is angry that the timber hasn't arrived. He suggests they go around and look for a
suitable location for the catwalk. Robin asks Patricia to go inside and get the plans, and she says yes.
Terry tells Robin that Patricia's a looker, but out of his league. Robin tells him yes, she is.
Patricia goes into the office to find Stephen looking very thoughtful. She asks him if he's all right.
Stephen tells her that Barbara has been on the phone - Helen is dead. He adds that she drowned in
Gordon and Barbara's pool. Patricia is shocked and tells Stephen she is very sorry. Stephen tells her
he feels bad about the way he treated Helen the last time he saw her. Patricia feels a bit guilty too about
trying to trick her. She tells Stephen it's nice to be talking again. Stephen tells her it'll only be coffee and
sandwiches, but asks her to have lunch with him. She tells him she'd love to, and leaves with the plans.
Later, over lunch, Stephen tells Patricia that he didn't want to leave her but he had no alternative. She tells
him she would have come to Woombai and been a housewife if he'd wanted her to, but they didn't even try.
Stephen tells her, at the time, there didn't seem to be any point. Patricia asks him and now? Stephen tells
her "We'll see." Patricia tells Stephen that she is going riding. Before she leaves, Patricia tells him there
are two things she wants to say to him - there was never anything between Matt Kennedy and her, and
Margaret did do all the things she said she did. She adds that Margaret is trying to make her life as
difficult as possible. Stephen tells her he believes her. Patricia leaves.

Margaret's at it again.Patricia has had enough.Watch out for that tree!MARGARET!!!!!!
Margaret is reading in reception. Patricia walks past, and Margaret tells her it is obvious that she is trying
to get back together with Stephen. She adds that she wouldn't be fool enough to fall in love a second time.
Patricia tells her they'll just have to wait and see. She leaves and Margaret goes into the office and gives
Stephen the receipt for the timber. She tells him he's a fool if he lets Patricia pull the wool over his eyes.
Stephen says she isn't. Margaret tells him she's only worried for his sake. Stephen asks is she? Margaret
asks him what Patricia has been saying about her, but Stephen tells her the subject is closed. Margaret
leaves angrily.
Later, Patricia is sitting in a clearing with her horse nearby when Margaret appears, also with a horse.
She accuses Patricia of turning everyone at Woombai against her, including Stephen. Patricia tells her that
maybe people have finally woken up to her. Patricia tells her there's a good chance that Stephen and her
will get back together, and she's told him all about her and he believes her. The horses start acting up.
Patricia can smell smoke and Margaret remarks that no one said the fire was in that area. They decide not
to take any chances and go for their horses.
A short time later they are riding through the blazing forest when a burning tree falls in their path.
Patricia is thrown from her horse. She shouts at Margaret to help her, as she has hurt her leg. Margaret
looks at her for a while, then turns away and starts to ride off. Patricia screams after her sister, as the
flames get closer.....
