Amanda arrives back at Toorak, and Wayne tells
her he was about to start lunch without her. Amanda asks
him if there's something he wants to talk about first. Wayne pretends he doesn't
know anything about that
morning and that he didn't know she'd been to Lynn's house. He tells Amanda
he didn't even see her that
morning. Amanda realises that he's had another one of his blackouts. Wayne
asks her if they fought. She
says no and is about to tell him that she told him she loved him, but changes
her mind and says it isn't
important. Amanda tells Wayne she'll make another appointment at the doctor's
for him. Wayne looks guilty.
Later, Andy arrives at Toorak. He tells Amanda that he was just getting over
his mum, then 'Wham!' - along
comes Lynn. Amanda gets him a drink and they sit down. Andy tells her all
he can think of is going
charging off after Lynn. Amanda tells Andy she's feeling pretty low - Wayne's
had another blackout
and is at the doctor's now. Andy tells her they're a great pair - falling
in love with people they can't have.
Meanwhile, Wayne is sitting on a park bench with a newspaper, soaking up the
sun.

Back at Toorak, Andy asks Amanda why she doesn't
just tell Wayne again that she loves him. She tells
him she was going to, but chickened out. Andy tells her she's scared he doesn't
feel the same way. She
replies that she knows he doesn't. Amanda adds that she's carrying his baby,
and it's going to mean more
and more to him. She says that one day Wayne will be the one to say "I
love you", so there really isn't
any problem.
At the Sydney apartment, Patricia is moaning about Fiona to Robin. She isn't
happy about the way Fiona
stood there gloating when she left Woombai. Robin tells her to concentrate
on her work. Patricia replies
that she hates spending five nights a week in a crummy hotel room. Robin suggests
that she moves in there
with him - he can be company for her and she can do as much work as she wants.
Patricia agrees, and
Robin tells her she might as well go and get her things now - they've got
a lot of work to do.
Later, Margaret arrives at the apartment. She tells Robin she knows that he
and his wife defrauded the
company they were working for, and he let his wife take the blame and go to
prison. She warns Robin
to tell Patricia he altered the guest list at Woombai, or she'll let his wife
know where he is.
Robin gives in and tells her he'll talk to Patricia.
Some time later, Patricia arrives at the apartment with her suitcases and
asks Robin to get her a drink.
She can tell something is troubling Robin. He tells her that, when she hears
what he has to say, he
doesn't think she'll be unpacking. Patricia looks surprised.

Wayne arrives back at the house in Toorak. Amanda
asks him how it went at the doctor's and why it took
him all afternoon. Wayne tells her he just popped into the office afterwards.
He adds that the doctor
told him he is fine, and that the blackouts should disappear in a few weeks.
They walk off, and the phone
rings. Andy answers it and it is the doctor's office. The receptionist tells
Andy that the doctor wants to
know if Wayne is all right, as he didn't show up for his appointment. Andy
tells her Wayne is fine and
hangs up, not looking too pleased.
At the apartment, Robin is surprised that Patricia has taken the news so calmly.
Patricia tells him she'll
ring Margaret up and patch things up with her. She adds that she probably
would have done the same
thing in his position. Patricia tells him it could be the start of a new sort
of relationship between them
as they both know what they want - he wants power. Robin tells her she wants
Stephen back on a full
time basis. Patricia says yes, but something else almost as much - she wants
to make Fiona Thompson pay.

At Toorak, Wayne, Amanda and Andy have just finished
dinner. Amanda goes to make some coffee and
Wayne remarks that she can rustle up a pretty good meal. Andy remarks that
she's a pretty good lady
all round - too good for him. Wayne asks him what he's on about. Andy tells
him he knows he's been
peddling a load of garbage about not remembering Amanda telling him she loved
him, and he knows that
he didn't visit the doctor that afternoon. Wayne tells him he did it for Amanda's
sake, and neither of
them need that kind of complication. Andy doesn't believe him. Wayne explains
that everyone who gets
close to him ends up getting hurt, and he's not going to hurt Amanda. He adds
that is why he's keeping
her at arms length - he doesn't want to hurt her too.
At the apartment, Robin shows Patricia a folder containing his PR campaign
for Woombai. Patricia asks
him if he can delay showing it to Stephen for a while. She tells him she wants
to go to Woombai with him,
but needs a bit more time to organise a few things. Robin asks her what. Patricia
tells him he has to know,
because he's going to be involved - he's going to help organise an assault
on her.....
