Signing for the dosh.Robin is the witness.Robin reveals his intentions.Uh-oh!
At the apartment, Wayne and Amanda are signing a contract for the next instalment of Dee's money.
Robin is watching them slyly, and Wayne asks him to witness it, so Robin signs as well. Wayne gives Amanda
a kiss and tells her he'll see her in about an hour. He leaves. Robin tells Amanda that once Wayne has
handed the papers over, the next lot of money is theirs, and asks her if she's glad he talked her out of
saying anything. Amanda tells him the last few days have been the worst in her life. She tells him that
he and Patricia don't care about her, and wants to know what they're after. Robin tells her they can wait
until Wayne gets back, but she tells him she wants to know now. Robin tells her that he needs money badly,
and when she miscarried he saw a chance to get it. He adds that, since Wayne is taking money under false
pretences for a pregnancy that doesn't exist, he's the only one who stands between her and a criminal
charge. Amanda is stunned, and Robin says he's in a perfect position to blackmail them.

"Don't push it, pal!"Wayne's been had. We'll start a proper married life.Robin wants more.
Later, Wayne emerges from the bedroom looking annoyed. Robin asks him if Amanda has told him everything
and Wayne asks him what sort of creep he is. Robin offers him a drink, but Wayne knocks it away and grabs
him by the collar, telling him not to push it. Robin tells HIM not to push it - he's the one in the wrong, and
he's got the proof. He adds that he needs the money, and that's that. Wayne asks him if he can't see what
it's doing to Amanda - she's a mess. He tells Robin that Amanda told him how he and Patricia worked on her.
Robin tells him it's a business deal - he needs the money and Wayne's got it. He tells Wayne he wants two
cheques for half the amount he was given today - one for Patricia and one for him, and he'll continue to
live there rent-free for as long as it suits him. Wayne asks him what if he refuses? Robin tells him he
doesn't want to go to prison, and more importantly, he doesn't want Amanda to either. He tells Wayne he'll
be in his bedroom and to call him when he's leaving. He walks off, and Wayne stares at him.
A while later, Wayne is writing two cheques out when Amanda emerges from the bedroom. She tells Wayne
she feels terrible. Wayne tells her not to - the main thing is they've still got each other, and there'll be
other babies. He tells her they'll pay the creep off, then go back to Melbourne and have a normal life. He
adds that they've still got enough money to buy a share of Woombai. Amanda asks him what about the baby?
Wayne tells her they'll give it a week and tell everyone she lost it. He adds that once they've done that, it'll
be the last they have to do with lying and cheating and they'll start a proper married life. He shouts out to
Robin that they're going. Robin comes out. Wayne tells him the cheques are on the table, and he wants the
name of the doctor who came to see Amanda - to make sure he doesn't try to get any more out of them.

Wayne is amazed.Robin spells it out. It's sick! They're not happy.
Robin tells them he's been selling himself short. He knows that the terms of the agreement were that they
received the bulk of the money when the baby was born, so why lose out on the bulk of the money?
He tells them they should go ahead and have the baby. Amanda and Wayne look at each other in amazement.

Wayne tells Robin he's crazy - how is Amanda supposed to fake it? Robin says all she has to do is wear
loose dresses at the right time, then a couple of months before the baby's due they take a trip overseas.
Then they can come back with fake birth and death certificates, which are easy to arrange. That means
they get the rest of their money and he gets his cut. Amanda tells him it's the sickest thing she's ever
heard. Robin reminds them that they only got married because some vicious old crone wanted to play
games with everyone. Amanda tells him they're finished with that sort of thing. Robin tells her they will
be in six months. Wayne asks him how Amanda will feel. Robin tells him she'll get used to it - it's easier to
adjust to than a prison cell. He reminds the pair that the charge is fraud, and that people have done
worse things for money.
