Matt goes to visit Margaret in hospital. She asks
him why he's there so early. Matt says he wants to give
her something to think about for the rest of the day. He explains that Patricia
won't be coming to visit
her for a while, as he's persuaded her to take a long rest. Margaret asks
if he's put her in a home and
he says yes, and she had a breakdown. Matt explains that Patricia's recovery
is going to have a lot to do
with HER recovery. He adds that she's lying there feeling sorry for herself,
and it isn't fair on the people
who care about her. He says she's the most important person in Patricia's
life at the moment, and if Patricia
thinks that she isn't going to be around when she comes out, she isn't going
to want to come out. Matt
tells her he has to go, and wishes her a good day.
Amanda and Wayne are walking along in the city. Wayne stops to buy a newspaper.
After the pair walk
