The next morning, Stephen arrives at Toorak and
Barbara gets him a tomato juice. Stephen asks his sister
why she doesn't want Gordon involved. Barbara explains that Gordon's got enough
on his plate - he has
a court case in a couple of days. Stephen asks how they're going to do it.
Barbara says that she and
John have been to the place, and John knows the timetable. Stephen asks her
if she realises what they're
doing - kidnapping is a little more serious than illegal parking. He says
they'll have to plan the thing very
carefully, and they'll need some help. Barbara tells him that John's working
on that now.
A
while later, David, Stephen and John arrive at the commune and get out of
David's car. John tells them
they'll hop the fence and make their way up a rise through the trees - they
can see the place from there.
He explains most of the kids should be in an open area right now, as they
have an hour of free time.
They make their way over to the fence and begin climbing over.

A while later, the trio are watching the bunch
of kids playing rounders, and John has a pair of binoculars.
Stephen says they've been there for nearly an hour - the kids will be going
in for lunch soon. David asks
why they don't just go in and grab him. John says they'd never get near him.
One of the kids hits the ball
a long distance and they shout at Andy to go and get it. Andy begins running
towards the three, and they
make their move. Andy is surprised to see Stephen holding the ball. He asks
what they are doing there.
Stephen tells Andy they're there to help him. Andy shouts out and starts running
back to the others.
Stephen, David and John follow him. The other kids come running over and stare
at the intruders. Andy
asks Stephen if he wanted to see him, why he didn't get in touch properly.
Stephen says they want to talk
to him away from there. One of the girls tells Andy they aren't really his
friends, and the group begins
to walk away. Andy shouts out that they think HE'S the one with problems -
they should check out the
way THEY'RE carrying on. Stephen tells David and John they blew it - all they've
done is drive
Andy closer to the group.
