Andy asks Lynn why she's there. Lynn replies that
she wanted to see him. Andy says it was the others that
put her up to it, and that she shouldn't be there - she should be with Kevin
and Davey, her husband and
child. Lynn kneels next to him and says she wants them to be friends, the
way they were. Andy tells her
his friends made him see the sort of person she really is. Lynn asks what
sort of person that is. Andy tells
her to go away. Lynn asks if if they can at least talk. Andy shouts at her
to get out. Looking upset, Lynn
leaves the room with Stephen and the light is switched off. The pair return
to the living room where
Gordon is. He tells Lynn she should have waited until the morning to see Andy.
Lynn moans that it would
have been all right if Stephen hadn't been there - he should have let her
go in by herself. She tells Stephen
she's going back in alone, but he says no. Gordon says Andy's become dangerous.
Barbara comes in and
tells them she's put Davey down. She realises that it wasn't too successful.
Lynn shouts that there was no
point in bringing her back there if they're not going to give her a chance
to get through to him. Barbara
tells her she needs a long sleep. Stephen agrees and says they should all
turn in. Lynn watches as he puts
the key to Andy's room on the mantelpiece. Lynn admits she is feeling tired,
and Barbara takes her off
to bed. Gordon offers Stephen a night-cap and he accepts. Gordon asks if Stephen
had someone that
Samantha really cared about to help. Stephen says not really, but the ex-members
of the group that helped
him said it would make it a lot easier. Gordon says it's just a matter of
patience. Stephen says a good
sleep will help them all. They pair leave the room, and Stephen turns the
light out.
Later
that night, Lynn goes into the living room and takes the key from the mantelpiece.
The light comes
on and John comes into the room. The pair hug and John says it's good to see
her. He spots the key in
Lynn's hand and asks her if she's thinking of doing anything silly. Lynn says
she was going in to see Andy
by herself. John reminds her that Andy attacked Amanda - she can't go in there
by herself. Lynn suggests
going in while he waits outside the door - if there's any trouble she can
call him. John says he doesn't like
it, but Lynn pleads with him. John agrees on one condition - she takes one
key and locks the door from the
inside, while he takes the other and waits outside.

Lynn goes into Andy's room, turns on the light
and locks the door. She wakes Andy up and tells him she
wanted to see him by herself, and waited until the others went to bed. She
tells him she thought about him
so much while she was in London. Lynn says that she felt guilty about leaving
him there by herself - she
knows how much he wanted someone. When she found out about him, she just had
to come back. Andy tells
her that he missed her a lot. They start kissing, but Andy pulls away and
says he knows what she's doing.
He asks Lynn how her husband would feel knowing she's throwing herself at
him. Lynn tells him she can't
help it. Suddenly Andy pins her down on the mattress and asks if she feels
better down there. Lynn shouts
out for John and he comes in. He drags Andy off Lynn and tells her to get
outside. John pushes Andy away
and leaves the room, locking the door. Andy shouts out that they won't get
him. Outside, John hugs Lynn,
who cries that she can't understand - how can a person change so much? Wayne
appears and says it's
a wonder the whole house isn't up, and he's fed up with the trouble Andy's
causing. In his room, Andy
sinks to his knees and punches the mattress in anger.
The
next morning, Stephen, John and Wayne are sitting around the table. Stephen
tells John it was a
stupid idea, and now Andy's going to be twice as difficult to handle. John
says that when Lynn woke him
up, he was his old self for a few moments. Stephen says that, from now on,
only Lynn deals with Andy.
She takes him his meals, but there must be someone with her at all times.
Amanda comes in and says it's
a good idea. Stephen asks her to tell Lynn and she leaves. Stephen says that,
if Lynn keeps at him, he'll
break down and start to question all that mumbo jumbo they've been feeding
him - and when that happens
he'll be well on the road to recovery.

Amanda goes into Lynn's room with breakfast and
the pair hug. Lynn tells her that last night was so scary
and Amanda says it was the same for her. She adds that Stephen thinks it was
a real breakthrough that
Andy talked to her, and thinks that she should be the only one to make contact
with him at all. She suggests
that Lynn starts by taking his breakfast in to him. Lynn says she couldn't
face him after last night. Amanda
tells her that Andy really got to her. Lynn says that he was accusing her,
and he was right. Lynn starts
sobbing, saying she's scared that if Andy gets back to normal she won't know
what to do. She adds that
if it goes back to the way it was before, she'll be on the first plane back
to London. Amanda gives her a
hug. Lynn says she can't see Andy again so soon - she has to know that what
she does and says is right.
Amanda returns to the table and tells the others that Lynn doesn't want to
see Andy, and she'll take him
his breakfast. She goes to the kitchen. Wayne tells her he'll come with her
- if he's worth giving food to.
John
tells Wayne it's not Andy's fault he's been turned into a zombie, and that
he's so damned smart.
John adds that he'd be a sitter for that mob if they ever got hold of him.
Wayne says he knows where
his brain's at. John looks downwards and says so does he. Stephen tells them
both to shut up - the last
thing they need is them fighting. Wayne tells the pair that they're crazy
- they're amateurs. If they're
going to get anywhere they need someone who knows what they're doing. Stephen
says that he would
consider bringing in the men who helped Samantha in the states. Wayne sarcastically
asks where the
money ends. He asks if it wouldn't be easier to just let Andy go back to them.
Stephen tells him it would
be easier, but it's not going to happen. Amanda comes in with a breakfast
tray. Wayne asks her if she's
feeding the animal - he'd better come with her. John tells him to watch what
he says. Wayne tells him
not to worry - he can't speak Andy's language.

Andy is sitting on his mattress when Amanda comes
in with his breakfast tray. Wayne waits by the door.
Amanda tells Andy that Lynn was pretty upset last night, and Andy replies
that she deserves to be.
Amanda tells him he's scared, as he knows they're getting through to him.
Andy tells her not to kid
herself - they're evil and they stink. Wayne tells him to shut up. Amanda
tells Andy to go on, and asks
him why they're evil. Andy tells her she married for money, she got pregnant
for money and she was
paid back - she lost the baby, she was punished. Amanda rushes out, upset.
Wayne crouches down in
front of Andy and tells him he's not going to touch him - he's going to make
it worse. Wayne adds that
he's going to let him go. Andy looks surprised.
Wayne goes to see Amanda in the living room and asks her if she's all right.
Amanda says she isn't going
to let Andy get to her like Lynn. Lynn comes in with Davey, and Amanda suggests
they go for a ride. Lynn
says it's a great idea, but she can't leave Davey. Wayne offers to look after
him. Lynn thanks Wayne
and leaves with Amanda. Wayne waits a moment, checks everyone has gone and
leaves Davey with his
book. He goes into Andy's room and tells him to get out. He advises him to
stick to the bush and away
from the roads, and says he'll try to stop the others finding out for as long
as he can. Andy
asks why he's
helping him. Wayne says he doesn't need him around, and neither does Amanda.
He advises Andy to go out
the back way and get into the bush. Andy runs out of the house.
A short time later, Wayne is playing with Davey when Gordon and Barbara come
in, closely followed by
Stephen and John. John explains to Gordon and Barbara what happened with Andy
and Lynn the
previous night. Stephen explains that Lynn had a breakthrough - Andy actually
talked rationally to her.
Barbara goes to see Andy, but Wayne stops her and says the idea is to keep
everyone but Lynn away
from him. Then Stephen remembers they haven't got Andy's cup and plate, and
goes to get them to make
sure he's eaten. Wayne delays him, saying it would be better for Lynn to get
them when she comes back.
Stephen is suspicious and asks Wayne what's going on. Wayne tells them Andy's
gone.

Amanda and Lynn are out riding when they spot someone
running through the trees in the distance. They
realise it's Andy. Amanda tells Lynn to go after him while she goes back and
gets the others. Andy runs
though the trees. Lynn follows him, shouting at him to stop.
In the house, Wayne tells the others they're better off without Andy. He leaves
the house and Barbara
asks Stephen where they're going to start looking for him. Stephen says they'll
head into the bush.
Outside, Amanda dismounts from her horse and tells Wayne they've just seen
Andy. Wayne looks guilty
and tells her he let him go. Amanda looks shocked.
Inside the house, Stephen tells John they should each take a four wheel drive
and head into the bush.
He asks Gordon to search the house and the stables, in case Andy's hiding
there. They leave Barbara
looking after Davey.
Outside, Amanda is shouting at Wayne. She tells him everyone's gone to a lot
of trouble, and he had to
ruin it by doing one stupid thing. Wayne tells her he did it for her. Amanda
says he didn't - he got
bored with it all - to hell with what everyone else wanted to do. Wayne says
if Andy's happy with the
bunch, why not let him go back to them? Amanda snaps that she doesn't understand
him, and he'd be
a sitter for that bunch of cranks himself. She storms off.
Andy runs along the side of a water hole, closely followed by Lynn. He starts
climbing some rocks,
and Lynn yells at him to stop. Andy carries on climbing and Lynn follows him,
still yelling that she's
not going to let him go. Suddenly she slips and, with a piercing scream, falls
backwards into the deep
water. Andy sees this, but carries on moving upwards.....
