Lynn tells Barbara it's not what she thinks. Barbara
tells the pair that, whatever they say, it's going to
sound pretty lame. She says they've both been under pressure lately, but she's
not happy about what she
saw. Lynn promises it'll never happen again. Barbara tells Andy he should
turn in - he's had a rather
confusing day. Andy says he's sorry, and says goodnight. Andy leaves and Barbara
and Lynn sit down on
the couch. Barbara takes Lynn's hand and tells her it would be a good idea
for her to take Davey down to
visit her parents. She tells Lynn not to worry about Andy - she's done her
bit. Lynn decides that maybe it's
best if she gets away, and says she'll ask John if he wants to go back to
Melbourne tomorrow morning.
Barbara tells Lynn to get a good night's sleep, and that Amanda will be looking
after Davey for the night.
Lynn says goodnight and leaves.
The next morning, Amanda and Wayne are sitting on their bed with Davey, who's
crying. Lynn comes in
and takes Davey, telling them he's having teething trouble. Wayne picks up
the milk bottle and tells them
he's going to put it back in the fridge. He leaves the room, and Amanda and
Lynn fuss over Davey.
On his way to the kitchen, Wayne sees Andy sneak out of Lynn's room. He smiles
smugly.
Lynn takes Davey back to her room as Wayne comes back into the bedroom. He
tells Amanda it's a shame
that Davey spoiled Lynn and Andy's night together - he just saw Andy creeping
out of Lynn's bedroom.
Amanda asks him if he's kidding, and Wayne says Andy's a sneaky little fellow.
Amanda asks Wayne to
promise he won't tell anyone else - especially Gordon. Wayne asks why. Amanda
explains that Gordon
still isn't sure whether Andy is worth bothering about. Wayne tells her he
won't say anything.

Later, Amanda goes into Lynn's room and tells her
not to worry about Andy - they'll look after him. She
says she knows how hard it must be for them both and knows that they spent
last night together. Lynn is
shocked and asks who told her that. Amanda tells her not to worry - she won't
tell anyone. Lynn tells her
nothing happened and that Andy sat in the chair and fell asleep. Amanda looks
unconvinced. Lynn says that
she's telling the truth. Amanda tells her not to get upset about it. Lynn
says that marriages are very
important, and she came back to Australia to save one that's very important
to her.
Later, everyone is outside the house by a car. John puts Davey in his baby
seat in the back of the car.
He says goodbye to Stephen and Gordon, and Barbara hugs Lynn. Lynn then goes
to Andy, who thanks her
for everything. Lynn tells him to take care of himself and the pair hug. Amanda
tells her not to worry -
she'll take care of him. Lynn looks at Andy for a while then gets in the car.
Amanda and Andy make their
way back into the house. Stephen, Gordon and Barbara wave as the car drives
off.
Wayne goes into the living room and sits down at the dining table. Amanda
and Andy come in. Amanda tells
him she's got plans for him, and might talk him into helping her with some
kind of business. Andy doesn't
seem too sure, and tells her she's got his future all worked out. Amanda tells
him she's got to put her bag
in her room, and will be back in a moment. She leaves and Andy sits down next
to Wayne. Wayne scowls
at him, and walks out after Amanda.

Amanda goes into the bedroom and Wayne comes in.
Wayne complains that they're supposed to be going
back to Melbourne to sort out their business affairs. Amanda tells him there's
no hurry. Wayne asks what
all the talk about going into business with Andy is about. Amanda tells him
it's a way of helping him get
back on his feet again. Wayne asks what would happen if she fell pregnant
- she'd have to take it easy
and wouldn't be able to go gallivanting around the country with Andy. Amanda
says she wouldn't be.
Wayne moans that all their plans take a back seat so poor little Andy doesn't
run back to his mates on
the fruitcake farm. Amanda says there's plenty of time for them - right now
Andy's the important one.
She tells Wayne not to be such a grump, gives him a peck on the cheek and
walks out.
Later, Andy is lying on his bed reading when Wayne comes in. Andy asks what
he can do for him, and
Wayne says "Disappear." Andy says he's been waiting for him to say
something - he's been bad-vibing
him all morning. Wayne tells him he thinks he's got it made, with everybody
bending over backwards
to prop him up. He adds that he should have kept going when he had the chance
and, if he's smart, he'll
do it now. Andy gets up and tells him he won't be running again, whether he
likes it or not, and has no
intention of turning down Barbara and Gordon's offer. He asks Wayne what he's
going to do about it.
Wayne says nothing. Andy tells him, if he did anything, he'd be in strife
- he's already offside with
everyone, including Amanda. Wayne says if he wasn't concerned about breaking
a promise to her, he'd
already have enough to send him packing. He warns Andy that he'll get another
chance, and when that
happens he'll be out of their lives so fast he'll wonder what hit him. Wayne
tells Andy to consider
himself warned, and leaves the room.
