Patricia arrives back at the flat, and David tells
her Beryl's invited him over for dinner with the kids.
Patricia nastily tells him it's the day of Margaret's funeral and he's already
running back to Beryl. David
tells her he's not going over there for Beryl's sake, but Patricia doesn't
believe him. David tells her to
read Margaret's letter. Patricia starts reading the letter. David says Margaret
loved him, and he loved her
and he's not going to forget that in a hurry. He tells Patricia he's going
over for John and Angela's sake,
and he'll see if they can come back there afterwards. Patricia finishes reading
the letter and says she's
sorry. She starts sobbing and David gives her a hug.
Later, Patricia and David are saying goodbye to John and Angela. John tells
Patricia he'll miss her, and
the pair hug. John shakes David's hand and Angela kisses and hugs David and
Patricia. John and Angela
leave, and Patricia tells David it's just them now. David tells her he'll
look after her, but he'll have to keep
working. Patricia says that's okay - she'll find plenty to keep her busy,
as she has a list of things she has to do.
At Toorak, Wayne takes the rocking horse into the living room, where Amanda
is packing things into boxes.
He asks her whether they should take it back to Sydney. Amanda says if he
likes, and she really doesn't
care. Wayne goes over to her and says it's no big deal - if she doesn't want
to keep the toys in the nursery
he can always give them away. Amanda tells him not to do that - it's that
they remind her of when they were
expecting the baby.

Wayne reminds her how much fun they had shopping
for everything. Amanda smiles and tells him they
visited every toy shop in Melbourne. Wayne says the sooner there's a little
someone around to use them,
the better. He adds that they'll have to wait until she's finished helping
Andy Green. Amanda tells him
that having a child really means something to him. Wayne says yes, and he
thought it meant a lot to her
too. Amanda says it does - she wants to help Andy, but they come first. She
says there's nothing stopping
them from trying to have another child. Wayne smiles and tells her he loves
her. Amanda says she loves
him too, and the pair kiss and hug.
The next day, Lynn is helping Amanda and Wayne with the packing. She starts
asking Amanda about Andy
and Wayne doesn't look too pleased. They continue to talk about Andy, and
Wayne says nothing. The
phone rings, and Wayne says he'll take it in the hall. He leaves the room
and picks up the phone in the hall.
Amanda tells Lynn he gets so jealous of Andy. Lynn asks what for, and Amanda
tells her Wayne thinks she's
neglecting him. Lynn asks her if it's serious, but Amanda says no - the second
honeymoon will fix everything.
Wayne is talking to Patricia on the phone. Patricia asks if Jill's there and
he says no. Patricia tells Wayne
she wants to come over and have a talk with them. Wayne asks what about, and
Patricia says she wants to
straighten a few things out, and wants to talk to him and Amanda before Jill
gets home. Wayne tells her
they're in the middle of packing. Patricia says it's important, and she doesn't
want to discuss it over the
phone. Wayne says all right. Patricia tells him she'll be there in half an
hour. She outs the phone down and
looks pleased with herself.
