Why Wayne?Is she lying?Patricia arrives at Toorak.Eavesdropping!
At the flat, Patricia tells David she's having lunch with Jill before going to the hospital to talk to the
doctor about Robin Elliott. David tells Patricia he can't understand just the two of them moving into the
Toorak house. Patricia tells him she likes it - it has a lot of happy memories for her. David reminds her
that Dee Morrell used to live there as well, and can't understand why she wants anything to do with
Wayne. Patricia says she wants to get on a good footing with all her family.
At Toorak, Jill is on the phone to Fiona when Patricia arrives. Jill lets her in and goes back to the
phone. Patricia overhears Jill telling Fiona it's time to call the police in. Then Jill says she supposes
Fiona's right and hangs up. She goes into the living room, and Patricia tells her she got the gist of
the conversation, and thinks she should call in the police. Jill looks at her worriedly.

Jill is unsure.David is unimpressed!Talking to the Old Bill.
Back at the flat, David is taping up boxes when there is a knock on the door. He opens it and a bunch of
flowers are thrust in his face, and a voice says "I suppose you thought I'd forgotten you!" David tells
the man he has the wrong person, and Matt appears and apologises.
At Toorak, Jill hangs up the phone and tells Patricia the police will be there in half an hour. Patricia tells
her not to worry - she's done the right thing. Jill says she feels rotten now she's done it, and doesn't
know what she's going to tell Fiona. She adds that Fiona loves Terry, and now she's put him in to the
police. Patricia tells her Fee's HER baby, and it's her decision to make, not Fiona's.
Later, the pair are talking to a couple of police officers. One of them asks Jill where the baby's father
is. Jill hesitates before Patricia tells the man he died recently. The officer asks if Terry's made any
demands for money. Jill tells him he hasn't done it for money - it's personal. The officer tells her they'll
contact the Sydney police, and they'll get in touch with the detective agency Mrs. Thompson employed.
Jill tells them she doesn't want a big fuss made - just her baby back. The officers make their way out,
and Jill asks Patricia if she's doing the right thing. Patricia tells her of course she is - for everybody
concerned. Jill looks unsure.

Matt wants a clue.I need more time.Matt listens.Patricia has a choice.
Later, Patricia arrives at the flat and sees a big bunch of flowers on the table. Matt appears and she is
delighted to see him. She asks him what he's doing there, and he says he's come to ask her to marry him.
Patricia looks stunned. A short time later, they are sitting down. Matt says he's going back to London and
wants her to come with him. He tells her he's pleased with the way she's handled everything after
Margaret, and while he was away he couldn't stop thinking about her. Matt adds that it hasn't come easy
for him - he didn't think he was the sort of guy who would ever settle down. He says her loves her, and
he needs her - end of case. Patricia tells him he certainly knows how to throw a girl. Matt says there's
nothing new in what he's said, but this time he's more serious than ever. Patricia tells him she doesn't
know what to say. Matt says he won't push her for a decision - he'll be around for a couple more days.
He asks if she can tell him if there's a chance. Patricia says he's right - she needs some time.
That evening, Patricia and Matt are having dinner. Patricia is staring into space and Matt crosses his
arms, until she finally speaks. She tells him she was thinking about him, and she's felt more relaxed than
she has for days. Patricia asks him if he believes in all that dream interpretation stuff. Matt asks what
she was doing. Patricia says she was back in the home, and Margaret was there as a nurse. They were
getting her ready for shock treatment, and she was begging Margaret not to let them do it to her. She
says Margaret looked like she did before the bush fire - like she hated her, and she was the one who
flicked the switch. Patricia says that when she woke up she cried - because she knows whatever she
does, she can never make it all up to Margaret. She asks Matt why she dreamt that. Matt tells her it's
because she's lonely and scared, and one word will fix that - "Yes". Patricia tells him she knows she'd
be happy if she came with him, but it's the choice. Matt asks her what choice? She says between
marrying him and.... Matt interrupts and asks her what? He tells her to at least let him know what his
competition is.....
