The accuser.Get out of my house!Terry laughs at Patricia. He's got the keys!
Jill hears Fee crying, so she goes into the living room, picks up her daughter and leaves the house.
At the Palmer house, Patricia tells Beryl she never thought she'd resort to hurting a child to get at her.
Beryl says that Lucy will be far better off without her, and that Shirley Ryan gave her every chance to
explain herself - she just blew it. She tells Patricia that when she starts lashing out at her, she can expect
to get the same back. Patricia asks her even when her precious children's home misses out? Beryl tells her
she's one step ahead of her - she knew the money would dry up when they took Lucy away from her, so
she told Shirley SHE would endow the wing. Beryl mocks that she wants to thank her for giving her the
chance to publicly thank Dee - the plaque will read the Dee Morrell Memorial Wing. Terry appears and
says it's got a nice ring to it. Patricia warns them that one slip, and she'll be onto the police so fast....
She tells Terry she knows he's making the phone calls, and Beryl is writing the notes. Beryl tells Patricia
she's had enough for one night, and tells her to get out of her house NOW. Patricia leaves.
Later, Patricia arrives back at Toorak and calls out for Jill, but there's no answer. She goes into the
living room and leaves her handbag and keys on the table, before helping herself to a drink. Patricia then
walks through to the dining room. An intruder quietly walks down the stairs and into the living room, where
he picks up Patricia's keys.

He's locked the door!Terry tries to warn Patricia.Locked in!Not a friendly call.
The intruder makes his way to the front door and locks it. Patricia settles down to eat in the dining room
when there is a knock on the door. Patricia goes out into the hall and shouts out. Terry answers. He shouts
that Jill turned up at Beryl's house and told him she thought there was an intruder in the house. Patricia
says there's nobody there except her. Terry asks if she's going to let him in, but Patricia says she doesn't
want him in her house. Terry says he promised Jill he'd search the place for her. Patricia warns him if he
doesn't leave, she'll call the police. Terry says that Jill told him the phones were out, and she should try
ringing out. Patricia says if the phone is dead, it means that he's cut the wires. She warns Terry that, if
she turns on the burglar alarm, it'll attract a lot of police. Terry says he's going and, if there is a prowler,
he feels sorry for the bloke! Patricia goes into the living room and watches Terry drive off. She takes a
pill and realises her keys are missing. Patricia goes to the front door to find it locked. Looking worried,
she picks up the phone to find it dead. She hears a voice on the other end say, "You can't call out, Patricia.
I did some rewiring. You can't get out either - I have your keys." Patricia asks who it is. The voice tells her
not to try leaving through a window - the minute the alarm goes off he'll come for her. Patricia asks why
he's doing this to her. The voice says she's hurt a lot of people and got away with it - until now. Patricia runs
into the living room, closes the door and drags one of the couches in front of it.

Who is the intruder?Patricia's bricking it.Who is he?The intruder's revealed.
Patricia is standing in the living room when she sees a silhouette appear at the door. She tells the intruder
she's barricaded the door. The man tries to open the door but it's blocked. He warns that it won't keep
him out for long. Patricia threatens to scream her head off. The intruder tells her no one will hear her -
old houses like that have thick walls and the grounds are so big no one will hear her. He tells her she's
safe for the moment. Patricia asks how he knows so much about her. She throws her drink at the door.
A while later, Patricia is sitting down when the intruder appears at the door again. He tells her she looks
cold. Patricia says it'd be better if he put the heating back on. The man suggests she comes out and gets
her coat. Patricia tells him to shut up. The intruder says he's surprised she didn't end up back in the
sanatorium when she found out about her sister's grave - it was quite an effective way of getting her
attention. Patricia is furious and calls the man a miserable coward. She grabs an ornament and pulls the
couch away from the door. She tells them man to come in and finish it - there's nothing to stop him now.
The intruder says he'll choose a time. Patricia tells him he's not much of a man if he can't fight a helpless
woman. The man says why take unnecessary risks - he'll come for her when there's no fight left. Patricia
shouts that he'll be waiting a hell of a long time.
Later, the man is pacing up and down outside the door. Patricia tells him it'll be light soon - the milkman will
come and she'll scream her head off. The man says she had no food last night, and is using up energy trying
to keep warm. He says she knows she can't last much longer. Patricia turns off the light. The intruder asks
her what she'll achieve by doing that. Patricia tells him he's the smart one - he should figure it out. She
throws an ornament through the window, setting off the alarm. The intruder comes in and she smashes a
bottle over his head. Patricia turns the light on. The man is lying face down on the couch. Patricia turns
the man over.....
