Putting on an act.Lynn calls.Barbara rips into Wayne.Gordon feels ill.
Later, Amanda, Wayne, Gordon and Barbara are sitting in the living room. Gordon tells Amanda it's just
like old times having her around the house again. He says he hopes it'll soon be permanent. Wayne suggests
a day out tomorrow, and Barbara is all for it, but Amanda says she has something else on. The phone rings
and Wayne answers it. Lynn is on the other end and asks to talk to Barbara. Wayne tells her she sounds a
lot better than when he last saw her. Lynn says she is, and tells him there are a few things Barbara should
know. A bit later, Barbara is trying to talk on the phone to Lynn, but cannot hear her properly as the other
three are still chatting away. Amanda and Wayne both look at Barbara - Amanda quite smugly, Wayne very
worriedly. Barbara tells Lynn she's going to go outside and speak to her, and asks Amanda to hang up. She
goes out into the hall. Amanda takes the phone and hangs up. Wayne tells Gordon he has to grab something
from upstairs, and goes out. Amanda goes to the kitchen to get some more coffee.
Wayne goes into the hall, just as Barbara is ending her phone call. Barbara stops him and tells him he knows
what that was all about. She says it's typical of him - Lynn was at rock bottom and he forced her to lie just
to suit his own ends. Wayne tells Barbara that Lynn's changed her story because Andy's got to her. Barbara
says he's the only one who got to her. The phone rings again and Barbara tells Wayne to leave it - she isn't
finished with him. She tells him that he doesn't care for Gordon - the only person he cares about is himself.
Wayne tells her to keep her voice down. Barbara tells him she thought he'd changed, and asks him why he set
her against Andy and Amanda - two people she cares very much about. In the living room, Gordon has
answered the phone and it is Terry on the other end. He asks Gordon to give Jill a message that Paul
Sheppard is dead - he committed suicide and his body was found in the bay.

If looks could kill.Waiting for news.Barbara warns Wayne.Andy understands.
Gordon is shocked, and once he finishes speaking to Terry the other three come in. Gordon doesn't look
too well, and asks Barbara if she's seen his pills. Barbara helps him onto the couch and tells Amanda to
call the doctor. Gordon takes a pill and says he's just had some bad news. Wayne remarks that he doesn't
need any more of that at the moment. Barbara glares at Wayne.
A bit later, Wayne and Amanda are waiting in the hall. Barbara comes from the living room with the doctor
and Wayne asks how Gordon is. The doctors says he'll be okay as long as he doesn't have any more upsets.
Amanda and Wayne look at each other. The doctor says it would be a good idea for them to vet any more
phone calls, and Barbara shows him out. She tells Wayne not to think that Gordon's attack will let him off
the hook - she'll just wait until he is better before she tells him about the rotten way he got back at Andy.
Amanda says she's glad Lynn told the truth before Andy went away - it's going to mean a lot to him knowing
that Barbara believes him. Wayne tells them to forget about Andy - when they are around Gordon, how are
they going to behave? Barbara tells him the same as before - as if everything's wonderful, but when
Gordon's not around she doubts she'll even speak to him.
Later, Barbara is at the apartment with Andy and Amanda. She hugs Andy and says she's going to miss him.
Barbara says she's sorry she didn't believe him, but Andy tells her he understands. Barbara leaves and
tells them to keep in touch.

I'll be alright.Wayne is drunk.I want a kid!
Amanda's terrified.
Andy tells Amanda there's only one thing that worries him about going - leaving her there on her own.
Amanda tells him she'll be all right - she can't see anyone chasing her around the place like Patricia.
Barbara arrives back at Dural to find Wayne drinking heavily. He shouts at her that he's always loved
Gordon - just because he wants his wife back it doesn't mean he doesn't. He asks her what he has to do to
prove it to her. Barbara tells him there's nothing he can do - look at his track record. She adds that he's
never done a damn thing for Gordon and he never will. She goes into the kitchen and Wayne pours himself
another drink.
It's night time at the apartment and there is a knock on the door. Amanda emerges from the bedroom and
turns on the light. Wayne comes in and says he's come to do something for Gordon. Amanda asks what.
Wayne says he's never done anything for Gordon in his life, but now he's going to give him the one thing
he wants. Amanda asks him what he's talking about. Wayne says they've got to give Gordon a grandchild.
Amanda tells him he's drunk. Wayne says yes, but he knows what he's saying. Wayne tells her he loves her,
and he wants her. Amanda tells him to get out, but he grabs her and says no - he's sick of being treated
like some kind of animal. Amanda asks him what he expects when that's the way he behaves. Wayne pushes
her down onto the couch and says, "You're my wife, and you're going to give me a kid. You at least owe me
that much." Amanda looks terrified.....
